The Absinthe Kuzia wall lamp looks sober, but it’s actually a very ingenious lamp. It is equipped with a solar panel at the top and a motion sensor at the bottom. In this way, the lamp supplies itself with electricity and will only use the stored energy when the sensor detects movement. It doesn’t get any more energy-friendly.
This solar lamp stores energy in a battery during the day. When it gets dark, it uses this energy to keep the lamp on. Because this energy is limited, the Jua is equipped with two power-saving settings. In the first low-power setting, the lamp automatically illuminates at 15% of its full power when it gets dark to provide ambient light. When the sensor detects movement, the lamp lights up at full power for the amount of time you’ve set. In the second setting, the lamp remains off completely until the sensor is triggered. Naturally, the latter setting is the most energy-efficient.
Are you completely won over by the energy-friendly character of this Absinthe lamp? Then you should also take a look at the Absinthe Betri and Jua collections. These collections are also equipped with the same technology; plus, they include garden posts. This way you can light up the whole driveway and garden without having to mess around with a single cable.
