Absinthe might sound new and that’s completely correct. This young Belgian brand has set one clear goal: “To produce stylish architectural lighting at affordable prices”. This Absinthe Gem is a great example of their goal. A modern, sleek spot, stored with high quality LED technology at a very competitive price.
This sphere shaped spot goes by the name Gem and it’s no coincidence. Just like the real precious stones, this Gem comes in all shapes and sizes. The Gem collection is available in matt black, matt white and aluminium. Besides this one spot model, there are also versions with two, three or four light sources.
The Absinthe Gem is a flexible fixture. It can be used as a ceiling lamp, but you can mount against the wall as well. The rotatable, sphere shaped head can be pointed in any direction, so you can choose which part of your interior you want to put in the spotlight.
The Absinthe Gem produces a warm white light (3000 Kelvin). The 7W LED light source comes included. The LED driver which converts the 230V to 700mA is part of the base of the fixture. Sizes are 80 x 150 x 120 mm.
