“It's a jewel”, is something you often hear people say. As far as this Foscarini Caboche is concerned, you can take this almost literally. These fixtures look like gigantic diamond rings. The lamps are not suitable for people who are looking for something subtle, but for those who want to enhance their interior with a touch of luxury.
No one knows jewellery better than women. So it is no surprise that the Foscarini Caboche has been designed by two women: Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto. Another interesting fact: Patricia was taught by the famous designer Achille Castiglioni at Politecnico di Milano.
The Foscarini Caboche derives its unique look from the transparent spheres. These are made of polymethacrylate and attached to a glass diffuser. Currently, a yellow variant is also available. This is starting to attract even more attention.
Foscarini has not held back. The Caboche range extends from floor to ceiling. For the ceiling, there is a fixed model (Soffitto) and a series of pendant lamps (Sospensione). Among the Foscarini Caboche pendant lamps, you can choose between various formats, with diameters ranging from 310 mm to 700 mm. A wall lamp, table lamp and floor lamp are also included in the collection. A very useful feature of the free-standing models is the cord dimmer.
