In 2005, the Flos Wan was born. This collection consists of a series of ceiling and wall lamps with a stylish bowl-shaped shade. The inside of these fixtures is an eye-catcher all in itself. This makes the Flos Wan the perfect all-rounder for your home.

Japanese inspiration

Designer Johanna Grawunder got the inspiration for this lamp in Japan. “Wan” is a Japanese word for bowl. The shape of the shade actually resembles a bowl.

According to Johanna, a bowl is one of the most universal objects on Earth. Bowls can be found in every culture and every time period. The materials and finish may vary, but it retains the same basic shape.

On the ceiling or wall

The Flos Wan comes in two different versions. You can choose between a pendant lamp and a fixed ceiling light. The can also attach the latter to a wall. There is a filter inside the “bowl” to prevent glare. Let’s not forget the practical side.

Plenty of colours

All Flos Wan models are available in four different colours. First, there are three classic colours: black, white or chrome. These can be used everywhere. For those who want to add a splash of colour to their interior lighting, there is the green Flos Wan. The fresh green colour creates a decorative touch.
