You’ve got to admit: most wall and ceiling lamps are pretty boring. They all use the same shape, with slight changes. You can’t say the same for this Artemide Pirce. Creativity is the key. The Pirce is a wonderful example of Italian artistry.
These eye-catching fixtures were designed by Guiseppe Maurizio Scutellá in 2008. Thanks to the large dimensions, the Artemide Pirce is perfectly suited for big public spaces, like restaurants or hotel lobbies. We recommend using the Pirce Mini in your home. A wall version has been available since 2010 - it’s a true jewel on your wall.
The Artemide Pirce is both decorative and a functional light source. It not only lights up the room, it brightens up the aesthetic appearance as well. This gives it a dual function. The play of light and shadow is what makes this ceiling lamp so wonderful.
One thing is certain: the Artemide Pirce is an eye-catcher. Guiseppe Maurizio Scutellá didn’t want a traditional lampshade; instead, he opted for a combination of white, slightly arched aluminium disks. This gives the Pirce a futuristic look. This also won the fixture several prizes, like the iF Design Award 2010, Good Design Award 2008, and Red Dot Design Award.
